Niharika Foundation Honoured at MSME Meet for Driving Change Through Social Impact

On 19 September 2025, Niharika Foundation was recognised at the Amar Ujala MSME Meet – “Udyam India Conclave” in Lucknow for its outstanding contribution to social development and women’s empowerment.
The event brought together cabinet ministers, senior officials, entrepreneurs, and innovators to discuss solutions for business growth, employment generation, and community welfare.

While the conclave focused on Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), it also celebrated organisations like Niharika Foundation that work tirelessly at the intersection of entrepreneurship and social good.

Recognition for Social Impact: Niharika Foundation was honoured for its efforts in empowering women artisans, supporting underprivileged children, and advocating for sustainable rural industries like Chikankari embroidery and handloom sarees.

Dialogue with Policymakers: The event provided a platform to discuss how NGOs and MSMEs can collaborate to generate jobs, promote traditional crafts, and build resilient communities.

Support for Local Artisans: The Foundation’s ongoing programs — including exhibitions, “Handloom Saree Walk” events, and training workshops — were highlighted as models of how traditional skills can create new-age opportunities.

The conclave emphasised that innovation in traditional work can unlock countless opportunities for artisans and youth.
